Situated not far from Toronto, you’ll find the thriving neighbourhood of Maple. This rapidly-growing Vaughan community is known for its beautiful old buildings, wonderful mix of homes, and fantastic overall quality of life. Spend some time in the area, and you’ll quickly discover that it has so much more to offer than Canada’s Wonderland.

If you’re thinking of making Maple home, here’s what you should know…

Your future home

Maple is an incredible place to settle if you have kids, and part of the reason for that is its abundance of single-family homes. These include some relatively affordable houses from the post-war era, many of which tend to be found in Old Maple. If you’re more the condo or townhouse type, you’ll also find some great options in the neighbourhood.

Where to shop & dine

Gourmands are in luck, because Maple is home to some of Vaughan’s most vibrant eateries. One of the local favourites is Grazie Ristorante, which is known for its pitch-perfect pasta and seafood. 9baci is another Italian hotspot. From high-quality antipasti to flavourful mains, making your way through the menu is a worthwhile endeavour. Interested in doing a little shopping when you’re done? You’ll find a collection of outlet stores nearby.

Green spaces & recreation

One of the best things about living in Maple is having access to the epic green space known as North Maple Regional Park. At over 900 acres, this massive outdoor area contains scenic walking and biking trails along with multi-purpose sports fields. If you’d rather hit the links, Eagles Nest and Maple Downs Golf Clubs are must-visits.

Getting around

Proximity to Toronto makes for easy commutes to Canada’s biggest city. If you’re a transit user, you’ll find that the Maple GO bus station makes getting around the GTA ultra-convenient.

Local schools

If you have kids, you’ll be pleased to learn that Maple is an ideal place to send them to school. Mackenzie Glen provides a solid learning environment, as does Blessed Trinity Catholic Elementary (if you’re looking to provide your children with a faith-based education).

Maples is a wonderful, family-friendly neighbourhood in one of Ontario’s most desirable cities. Are you ready to learn what the local market has to offer?
